This painting is a representation of the mountains and hills I used to walk when playing with my mob back in my hometown in Wellington.

The dots symbolise footprints of my ancestors who walked these mountains for thousands of years before me.

When walking these tracks my old uncle would tell me to feel Mother Earth between my toes.

By connecting to Mother Earth you are connecting to your ancestors.

SURVIVAL

These shorts are awesome! Being an indigenous Australian it so amazing to see our peoples art and design out there so thanks you Dukies. I wear these and a few others daily for day to day and swimming/activities - I am off to Las Vegas in 2 weeks and these will be worn daily there too haha so another pair would be epic haha

I think I’ve bought six pairs so far.. so happy I stumbled across Dukies. Based here on the GC, really cool designs especially working with indigenous artists - yeah nothing to fault really. I’m no fashionista but I’ve had people stop and ask about my shorts haha Going to be repping these in Brazil next month.
